40 Bowen Officially Opens
Welcome to 40 Bowen
This week we officially opened 40 Bowen Street in Wellington as Bowen Campus Stage Two completion nears on the transformational precinct. Thank you to KURA MOEAHU from Te Āti Awa Taranaki Whānui for leading the blessing this morning, and for those who joined us bright and early on this special day.
Precinct has worked with Tennent Brown architects and Dunning Thornton engineers to design these two buildings which offer over 20,000sqm of net lettable area. The new seismically resilient building provides generous 1,200 – 1,700sqm office floor plates across six levels and incorporates viscous damper technology to provide business continuity in case of a seismic event.
40 Bowen will be the new home to EY, Fujitsu, Simpson Grierson, Dentons, Aspect Furniture, Little Astoria restaurant and Nam Nam with Generator occupying the first two floors.
The next stages of Bowen Campus are the F&B operators, opening in Jan 2023, followed by 44 Bowen (KPMG & NZTA) completing in mid-2023.
Once we are all done, Bowen Campus will be home to 5,000+ clients across four buildings, taking the total Wellington portfolio to 136,000sqm, with another 30,000sqm remaining in the Wellington development pipeline.
We look forward to welcoming clients over the coming months.
